PAINTER AND TEACHER
Born in Namur in 1976, Charline Lancel lives and works in Brussels. A qualified teacher since 1998, she is a self-taught artist, creator of pictorial works, visual artist and digital painter. Through her visual work, Charline Lancel explores the invisible dynamics that permeate living beings and influence our relationship with the body, energy and evolution. Her colorful works, created through photomanipulation, are abstract, geometric, minimalist, linear or spherical. Since 2007, she has developed a collection of digital paintings in which light, energy and vibration structure the visual space. Her pictorial language also draws on Optical Art (Op Art), reflecting an artistic affinity with Victor Vasarely through three recurring motifs: the spiral, the target and the wave. Her works are printed on ChromaLuxe® to ensure their longevity.
Née à Namur en 1976, Charline Lancel vit et travaille à Bruxelles. Enseignante diplômée en 1998, elle est artiste autodidacte, auteure d’œuvres picturales, plasticienne et peintre numérique. À travers ses visuels, Charline Lancel explore les dynamiques invisibles qui traversent le vivant et influencent notre rapport au corps, à l’énergie et à l’évolution.
Ses œuvres colorées, créées par photomanipulation, sont abstraites, géométriques, minimales, linéaires ou sphériques. Depuis 2007, elle développe une collection de peintures numériques où lumière, énergie et vibration structurent l’espace visuel. Son langage pictural s’inscrit également dans l’art optique (Op Art), témoignant d’une filiation artistique avec Victor Vasarely, autour de trois motifs récurrents : la spirale, la cible et la vague. Ses œuvres sont imprimées sur ChromaLuxe® dans un souci de pérennité.
